General information about visa to Uzbekistan
According to the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan foreign citizens can enter the country and travel through its territory via transit on the basis of Uzbekistan entrance visas only.
Citizens of the following CIS countries have visa-free regime entry for 60 days to the Republic of Uzbekistan: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine. Depending on the purpose of the trip there are several types of visa, such as diplomatic, official, business, travel and transit. We issue the Letter of Invitation, only for a tourist visa obtaining.

Getting a tourist visa to Uzbekistan consists of two phases:
1. Visa support obtaining (permission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, hereinafter MFA)
2. Visa obtaining at the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in exceptional cases, visa obtaining at the airport.

Visa support for tourist visa to Uzbekistan
Visa support is a kind of permission for Uzbek tourist visa obtaining. Visa support is prepared by travel agency, licensed by National Company "Uzbektourism" and applied to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for consideration. Document is considered at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan within 7 working days. At the end of review MFA sends telex approval to the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where the tourist plans to obtain visa. The travel agency informs tourist about visa support issue and inform him(her) telex number. MFA has the full right to deny permit, without providing reasons of the denial.

Visa support for tourist visa obtaining is not required for citizens of Austria, Belgium, Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Malaysia, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Japan.

There is a simplified visa obtaining procedure for the citizens of these countries, which provides the ability to apply directly for visas to diplomatic and consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who decide visa issue matters on their own, within 2 working days.

Please keep in mind that you also have to pay consular fees at the Embassy or Consulate upon visa obtaining. Amount of consular fees ranges from 40 US to 200 US dollars and depends on the citizenship and the duration of your stay.

NOTE: Visa support is not provided as a separate service.
We will be happy to provide you with visa support for Uzbek tourist visa obtaining, in case of hotel booking through our company for entire stay in Uzbekistan.
The list of documents, terms of issue and cost of visa Consular fees may be changed according to the instructions of MFA of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Our company is not responsible for the late visa issuance or for visa denial by consular departments of embassies.
In case of Customer refusal of previously paid order, provided visa support services will be canceled.

Visa support information
For visa support you need to provide our company (via e-mail) with the following documents:

•   scanned passport copy (main page), the validity of which must exceed the validity of the visa by at least 3 (three) months;
   
•   written confirmation (employment letter) from the place of work;
   
•   filled VISA SUPPORT REQUEST FORM  ( see below )

When we receive the full information from you, we will prepare visa support application and apply it to the MFA in Tashkent. Upon telex issue from MFA, we'll send you an email with telex number. Once you get a telex number, you can apply visa application form with a passport size photograph, passport, telex number and pay consular fees to the Embassy or Consulate.

Visa at Tashkent airport can get only the citizens of those countries where there are no Consular offices or Uzbek Embassies or citizens, who do not have enough time to get a visa at the consulate or embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the location, (upon air ticket presentation, confirming nearest departure date to Uzbekistan).
For visa support preparation with place of visa issue at Tashkent airport, the copies of air tickets are required, in addition to the abovementioned documents.
